Room 9 learnt a new game with Matua Derek today. Very cool game and the tamariki had lots of fun. Looking forward to our next game.

Te Hiku Manaiakalani Outreach 2 Film Festival 2020
Our theme for the movies this year was “Life in Lockdown” The movies have been played on the big screen at the Te Ahu Cinema in Kaitaia on Monday 19 October 2020. This is one of the lucky movies to be chosen from our school. Congratulations to everyone involved in the production of this movie. Hello Summer Poem
The whole class was remembering about Summer Time. We decided to write a poem about our best summer experiences. We shared our ideas with the whole class, which helped us get more ideas for our own poem writing.
Some of us liked the planning, some liked drawing, and some liked the writing.
Some of us found it difficult to come up with ideas for our own writing.
Next time we might try the same poem structure but with a different theme such as winter, spring, autumn, Halloween or Easter.
